Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Rook Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 167 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
