Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Rivermark Bridge Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 543 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
