Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Quill Foods Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
