Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Cedar Sparrow Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Honolulu, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
