Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Redstone Sparrow Energy Partners is an energy provider in Detroit focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
