Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Juniper Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
