Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Highbridge Rook Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Detroit plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
