Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Stonegate Harbor Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Tulsa, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
