Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Clearpath Stone Transit Planning Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
