Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Bluepeak Maple Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for San Antonio and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 104 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
