Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Clearpath Lantern Manufacturing makes precision components in Atlanta, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
