Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Westbrook Linden Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
