Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Fernwood Juniper Transit Planning Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits.
