Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Summit Cobalt Construction Holdings is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
