Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Summit Bridge Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data.
