Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Northwind Forge Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
