Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Keystone Freight Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We reward reliability. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
