Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Meridian Foods Associates and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
