Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Silverline Stone Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Wichita, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
