Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Foxglove Basin Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
