Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Ironwood Yarrow Facilities is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
