Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Highbridge Keystone Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Reno, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
