Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Junction Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
