Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Bluepeak Linden Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Omaha, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
