Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Foxglove Sable Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
