Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Northwind Clear Farms Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
