Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Ironwood Granite Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Las Vegas plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
