Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Basin Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
