Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Lumen Vista Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Raleigh. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
