Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Rivermark Cross Foods is a Spokane food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
