Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Highbridge Summit Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Tucson, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 814 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
