Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Nova Hollow Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Tulsa. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
