Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Silverline River Manufacturing makes precision components in New Orleans. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
