Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Corner Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 62 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
