Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Amberfield Orchard Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Honolulu. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
