Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Silverline Cobalt Auto Group is a Houston company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for warranty claims and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
