Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Clearpath Quarry Farms is an agricultural business based around Providence, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
