Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Hollow Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We reward reliability. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
