Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Redstone Fern Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Pittsburgh working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
