Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Redstone Drift Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Cincinnati plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • We reply to every applicant.
