Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Cedar Mill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Philadelphia working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
