Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Summit Sparrow Farms is an agricultural business based around Fresno. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
