Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Bluepeak Ivory Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Oakland with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 530 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
