Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Amberfield Bridge Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 829 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
