Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Bridge Environmental Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 594 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
