Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Timber Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for supplier deliveries and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
