Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Birch Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 72 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with seasonal crews. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
