Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Northwind Junction Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
