Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Clearpath Glen Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
