Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Stonegate Hollow Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Cincinnati, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
